While I really enjoy Wiggins, especially renting a cabin at Flint Creek, going fishing while the wife and kids go to the waterpark, it was ultimately to much for me to keep up with the market there.
Wiggins actually spreads across two MLS systems. The Gulf Coast Association of Realtors and the Hattiesburg Association of Realtors both have overlapping coverage and it makes it difficult for anyone that does not specialize in the area to really cover it well. Since I have no other need for membership to the Hattiesburg Association because I just simply do not do enough business there, I have started to refer business in Wiggins to other, reputable real estate brokers in that area, who know the market there better than I.
