Pass Christian MS is a quaint town located just east of the St Louis Bay and offers a great place to live quietly while still having easy access to life’s necessities. A new Wal-Mart on the beach makes shopping for most items a breeze, and a major shopping area at Gulfport (Crossroads, Factory Outlets) is only about 20 minutes away, and relatively pleasant drive.

Pass Christian has a nice harbor with a park for the kids, sand beach to play on, and an awesome pier where the trout are plentiful in the summer eve. Pass Christian also boasts two well groomed golf course communities at Timber Ridge and The Oaks. The Oaks at Pass Christian offers numerous, higher end homes while Timber Ridge has homes starting in a much more affordable range with access to larger, waterfront homes from bay front homes to a series of well planned canals that offer boat access right out your back door.

Lesser known ares such as Knollwood offer excellent opportunities to get waterfront property at a fraction of the cost of other areas on the coast.

Timber Ridge in Pass Christian MS started off very slow in its original development but then gained serious momentum in the 90′s with prices soaring. A local favorite, and also serving as a weekend getaway to people from New Orleans, Timber Ridge offers a great golf course which I have heard is very challenging for your short game (I am not a golfer), and also everything you would expect from a waterfront community.

Catching crabs or fish from your back yard, taking your boat out to romp around in the St Louis Bay, or just sitting on your back porch staring out over the water, the lifestyle presented can be very rewarding.

Timber Ridge was hit heavy by hurricane Katrina, and in so reduced prices down to a level that many can afford. Although prime, open, waterfront lots still demand a premium, canal lots can be picked up as low as $40,000 with waterfront homes starting in the high $100k range.

Pass Christian, MS is a quaint waterfront community nestled between Long Beach and Bay St Louis. One of my favorite areas in Pass Christian is Timber Ridge, which is a waterfront/golf community with easy access to the Bay St Louis bay and the front beach. Another favorite if you are considering building on or near water in Pass Christian would be Henderson Point. This area was devastated by hurricane Katrina, but much like any area worth living in, its sheer beauty and placement will assure its grand return. A little further north, The Oaks Golf Club has some really nice homes as well. Pass Christian is a beautiful, quaint town with amenities such as great eating, harbor, a super WalMart just out of the mainstream portion of town, and easy access to Bay St Louis for fast food and more dining choices.

Golf Course real estate on the South Mississippi Coast is an unbelievable value in the current market. There are great golf course communities all along the South MS coast in Ocean Springs, Biloxi, Gulfport & Pass Christian. Real estate lots in these golf course communities are very reasonable compared to other markets which leads to great opportunities for appreciation.
